Investigation Continues For Stolen Vehicle Found In River

ELLICOTT-Police are investigating the origins of a stolen vehicle recovered in a local river.

Ellicott Police Department responded to an eyewitness report Thursday of vehicle tracks heading into the Cassadaga Creek, at the point where it runs into the Chadakoin River by Water Street.

The vehicle-an unoccupied, black Chevy Blazer- was found approximately 100 yards downstream and later determined to be stolen from Jamestown on Oct. 30, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
