Kenneth “Ken” J. Wisniewski
Kenneth “Ken” J. Wisniewski, 57, of Sinclairville, N.Y., died at UPMC Hamot on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, of an unexpected accident.
He was born on April 6, 1956, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Daniel V. and Sally M. Bojanowski Wisniewski.
He was a 30-year resident of the community. He was previously employed at Midway State Park, Gemcor in Buffalo, and JNK’s Call of the Wild Sanctuary. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, loving his wife and family, rescuing and caring for endangered exotic wildlife, as well as domestic and abused animals.
He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Jacqueline ”Jackie” L. Marek Wisniewski. He was the caring and loving dedicated father of Scott A. Wisniewski and Kristy M. Wisniewski. He is further survived by one sister, Leona M. Wisniewski; sisters-in-law, Tina Marek Krohn (Dennis), Bonnie Marek Burgess (Brad) and Patricia (Marek) Knetsch (Allen); a brother-in-law, Kenneth Marek; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherina Wisniewski.
Per Ken’s wishes and request, a memorial service in his honor will be held at a later date at a desired place at JNK’s Call of the Wild Sanctuary.
