Taglianetti Booked Flight To Israel Hours Before His Arrest

MAYVILLE – Christopher Page, deputy sheriff and forensic investigator for the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department, testified Wednesday that the hard drive in Anthony R. Taglianetti II’s laptop showed websites stored in Taglianetti’s Internet cache, one of which was an airline site – cheapoair.com.

According to Page, who was able to access a booking receipt from Taglianetti’s email, a flight was booked for Oct. 12, 2012, from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., to Tel Aviv, Israel, via Vienna, Austria. The flight carrier was Austrian Airlines.

Taglianetti had made the booking at approximately 1 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2012. He was arrested a couple hours later while driving in Bath County, Va.

Public Defender Nathaniel Barone will cross-examine Page this afternoon.
