Hetrick Finishes Second At Clarence

CLARENCE – Sophomore Ryan Hetrick of Southwestern Central School placed second in the small schools cross-country race with a 17:21 time for 3.1 miles at the Clarence Fall Classic.

Team-wise, Southwestern was second with 86 points compared to runaway champion Honeoye-Falls Lima with 32 points on the very wet course on Saturday.

Also for Southwestern, Jordan Powers was sixth (18:09), Jacob Hinsdale 14th (19), Collin Hanson 28th (19:25) and Giuseppe Hoose 36th (19:52).

Cassie Cramer did the best for the Southwestern girls with a clocking of 23:08.
