Warren Man Charged With Rape Of Minor

A Pennsylvania man was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police troopers after an investigation into him sexually assaulting a known female between the age of 11 to 18, between 2003 and early 2010.

Daniel Lynn Brecht, 62, of Warren was charged with 14 counts of first-degree rape, 10 counts of first-degree statutory sexual assault, 14 counts of second-degree sexual assault, 21 counts of second-degree aggravated indecent assault, six counts of first-degree aggravated indecent assault, 37 counts of a first-degree misdemeanour indecent assault, six counts of third-degree indecent assault, 20 counts of second-degree misdemeanor indecent assault, 39 counts of third-degree corruption of minors and one count of third-degree endangering welfare of children.

In a parallel case he was also charged with two counts of indecent assault, two counts of second-degree misdemeanor indecent assault, one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a children and one count third-degree corruption of minors for assaulting another victim between the age of 10 to 12 during the same time span.

He was arraigned in front of District Judge Laura Bauer and placed into Warren County Jail in lieu of $100,000 for each case.
