Randolph’s Dominance Continues At CVCS

SINCLAIRVILLE – Not only did Chris Doubek lead the offense with four touchdowns and more than 300 yards rushing, but he was the leader on defense as well as unbeaten Randolph (3-0, 6-0) extended its winning streak to16 games in a row over a two-year span on Saturday afternoon in Class D football.

Doubek, averaging more than 20 yards per clip, carried the ball 13 times for 304 yards and scored four touchdowns for the fourth time as the state’s No. 1 Class D team defeated Cassadaga Valley (0-4, 1-5), 49-14. On defense, Doubek made 11 tackles and added four assists.

The Cardinals were dominant with 28 points in the first quarter as Doubek opened the scoring with a 61-yard ramble, and crossed the goal line from 48 and from 74 yards. By the end of the period, he had amassed 183 yards.

Mitchell Maycock hooked up with Bryce Morrison from 15 yards for the other Randolph score that quarter.

The Randolph touchdown in the second quarter came on 15-yard pass from Maycock to Morrison, who also had a 15-yard TD run in the third period.

Doubek completed the Randolph scoring with a 4-yard run and Micah Kehoe converted one of his five placements..

Quarterback Anthony Miller and Jordan Crabtree combined for both of Cassadaga Valley touchdowns on 15 and 4 yards.

Cody Oldro chipped in for Randolph with 14 tackles and three assists, Lucas Brown added nine tackles and three assists and Nick Hettenbaugh nine tackles and two assists.
