Randolph Moves Into Three-Way Volleyball Tie

RANDOLPH – Sparked by McKenna Maycock, Randolph has tied Portville and Cattaraugus-Little Valley for first place at 7-2 in East 1 Division girls volleyball.

Maycock had 34 kills, 29 digs and four aces as the Lady Cardinals (13-2) knocked off Portville, 27-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-15, Wednesday night.

Alexis Terrette recorded 14 assists, Sierra Farmer four blocks and two kills and Miranda Gross 21 assists for Randolph.

Shaina Griffin had 25 kills and 17 digs, Rachel Rowley 28 digs and Haley Unverdorbin 35 assists for Portville.

Portville won the jayvee match .

C-LV SWEEPS

CATTARAUGUS – Cattaraugus-Little Valley lifted its league record to 7-2 and 11-3 overall by sweeping Salamanca (0-9), 25-5, 25-13, 26-24.

Sara Crandall led the way with five kills, 10 aces and 11 digs, Ashlee Harvey had seven kills and two blocks and Jessica Pritchard seven kills and five aces for the winners.

Also for C-LV, Jackie Jaquith had two kills and a ace.

In the jayvee game, Cattaraugus-Little Valley prevailed.
