Fish Leads Salamanca To Swim Win

PANAMA – Salamanca’s Jessica Fish was a double winner as the Lady Warriors got by Panama, 106-80, in West Division girls swimming on Tuesday.

Fish won the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.88 and the 100 freestyle (1:00.41) while Courtney Sherwood took first in the 100 butterfly (1:19.14) for her first varsity win.

As for Panama, Paige Turcotte doubled in the 200 freestyle (2:12.17) and the 500 freestyle (5:54.31), Anna Turcotte was a first-place winner in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.65) and the 200 individual medley (2:35.23), and Abi Bailey also had her first career win in the 100 backstroke (1:14.02).
