Marsh, Stockwell Double For Jamestown

Jamestown performed well, but Lancaster had just enough to pull out a hard-fought 98-85 victory in ECIC Division 1 girls swimming on Tuesday.

Highlighting the day for the Lady Red Raiders (1-6) was Megan Marsh, who was a double winner in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.59 and the 100 butterfly, posting a mark of 1:01.73 while Allie Stockwell doubled in the 200 individual medley, setting a personal best with a time of 2:29.51, and also taking first in the 100 backstroke (1:11.12).

Sam Oakes also had a personal best while winning the 100 freestyle (1:05.8).

Jamestown’s final home meet of the season takes place on Friday when the Lady Red Raiders take on West Seneca West.
