Lady Red Raiders Fall To Lancaster

Jamestown fell in its final home game of its girls soccer season at the Martin Road Complex by a score of 3-1 to Lancaster in ECIC Division 1 action on Tuesday.

Lancaster built up a 2-0 halftime lead on goals by Sarah Gaczewski and Ashley Grazen. Gaczewski scored at 27 minutes of the first half and Grazen tallied on an assist from Emily Czechowski before the half had ended.

Czechowski got a goal from Annaliese Ziemann to make it 3-0 before Jamestown’s Alexa Dix scored from Laurie Scarpino midway through the second half to avoid the shutout.

Goaltender Maddie Pinciaro made 15 saves for Jamestown while Kim Corrie and Kendall Owczarzak had eight for Lancaster.
