LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Brandon Lucariello, 20, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to signal turn, inadequate brake lights and driving across hazard markings on Sunday at 11:07 p.m. Lakewood-Busti police allegedly observed a vehicle committing multiple traffic offenses and pulled the vehicle over. Lucariello was allegedly found to be in possession of multiple baggies of marijuana. He was given an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court later.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Robbin Wells, 39, of Ashville was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and insufficient tail lamps on Saturday at midnight. Ellicott officers stopped Wells for a tail lamp out and allegedly Wells was intoxicated. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000/$2,000 bail and is due to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Scott Haskins, 39, of Perrysburg was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content over .08 percent and open container of alcohol on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. Officers attempted to stop vehicle on Indian Hill in Perrysburg, and allegedly during that time the original driver of the vehicle fled as patrol was initiating the stop, and Haskins continued to drive the vehicle from the passenger side before stalling the vehicle just off the roadway into the woods. He was processed and released on tickets and is due back in Perrysburg Court at a later date. Charges are pending on the other driver.
Timothy Genberg, 52, of New Albion was charged with third-degree assault on Thursday at 5:20 p.m. Allegedly Genberg punched another male in the face after a verbal altercation in his driveway. He was processed and released to appear in New Albion Court at a later date.
Scott Hope, 55, of Friendship was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated on Friday at 1:50 a.m. Deputies were called to Kwik Fill on Washington Street in Ellicottville for an unconscious male in a vehicle, and upon further investigation Hope was allegedly intoxicated. Hope was arraigned in Ellicottville Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of bail. He is due back in Ellicottville Court at a later date to answer for the charges.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Vanessa Stevens, 23, of Fredonia was charged with petit larceny on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Allegedly on Sept. 30 Stevens stole items from Tops Markets in Dunkirk. She will appear in Dunkirk Court to answer the charges on a later date.
