Home In Ripley Explodes
RIPLEY – On Monday around 11:30 a.m., a home on the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Goodrich Street in Ripley exploded. Nobody was home and there were no injuries, and while investigation is still ongoing, fire investigators believe the cause is a possible natural gas build up.
Fire departments from Ripley, South Ripley, Westfield, Sherman and two North East, Pa., fire departments – Crescent and Fuller – came to fight the fire, which took an hour to put down.
