Donald L. Kreutz

MAYVILLE – Donald L. Kreutz, 73, of Sherman-Mayville Road, Mayville, died Thursday (Oct, 3, 2013), in Select Specialties Hospital in Erie, Pa.

Don was born Sept. 17, 1940, in Jamestown, N.Y.

He was an inspector for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Wash. He had also worked for Uncle Jack’s Saw Shop, Klinginsmith Plumbing and Heating, and Andriaccio’s Restaurant.

Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, ham and CB radio’s, and being a pyro- technical with his cousin shooting fireworks.

He is survived by his companion of 33 years, Diana Stebbins; two daughters: Tammy Kreutz of Vancover, Wash., and Holly Griffith of Sebring, Fla.; two grandchildren: Brian and Madison Griffith; one brother, Bill Kreutz of Seattle, Wash.; and one sister, Judy (Dave) Colburn of Seattle, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Dearing Lelli.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (Oct. 11, 2013), in the Mayville Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Parsons will officiate. Following the service a reception will be held at the American Legion in Mayville.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville.
