Jamestown Resident Part Of Drug Investigation

On Thursday at 1:49 a.m., officers of the Third Platoon of the Jamestown Police Department stopped a vehicle on Forest Avenue for having no front license plate. The driver of the car, Beau K.C. Jones, 29, of Jamestown, had his license privileges suspended in New York. During the search of the vehicle, police said they were able to locate cocaine and marijuana in the car.

Jones was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was charged with no front license plate on a motor vehicle, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.
