Harvest Dinner Set For Friday
WESTFIELD – The First Presbyterian Church, 49 S. Portage St., Westfield, will hold a roast turkey harvest dinner from 5-6:30 p.m. on Friday. All dinners include beverage and a homemade dessert. The cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children, age 10 and under. Takeouts and delivery are available. Contact the church office at 326-2643 before noon the day of the dinner for delivery. Soup Kitchen Needs Helpers
The St. Susan Center soup kitchen is in need of volunteers. The center is open 361 days a year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 2-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Having served 98,094 meals in 2012, St. Susan Center could not serve guests for one day without volunteers. Stop by St. Susan Center at the Gateway Center, 31 Water St., Jamestown, for a personal tour Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Gerry To Host Rabies Clinic
GERRY – Gerry will hold a rabies clinic Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at the town highway garage. Dogs must have a suitable collar and be on a leash and under control. If the dog is known to bite, please have the dog wear a muzzle. If a prior rabies vaccination has been given, please bring a copy. Thrift Store Begins Fall Sale
The Community Outreach Center Thrift Store is running a fall special. Every Friday is Bag Sale Day. Fill a bag with clothing only for $2. The store is located on the third floor of the First Lutheran Church, corner of Chandler and Center streets. Store hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds benefit local charities.

Library To Host ‘Love Letters’
ELLINGTON – The Farman Free Library will host “Love Letters,” a two-person play by Buffalo’s A.R. Gurnery, at 7 p.m. on Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. The play stars Ron Robertson – owner of Ellington’s antique shop – and Luanne Wanamaker. Tickets are $7. Refreshments will be served.
