Jeannette L. Fanale

SILVER CREEK – Jeannette L. Fanale, 65, of Bennett State Road, Silver Creek, died Saturday, Sept. 28, at Buffalo General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., on March 23, 1948, the daughter of the late John and Loucina (Colville) Sneddon.

Mrs. Fanale was a graduate of Fox Lane High School, Mount Kisco, N.Y., and graduated from SUNY Fredonia, receiving her master’s degree in education. She worked as a teacher for Silver Creek Central School, where she taught third grade for 34 years and fourth grade for three years, before retiring in 2006.

She enjoyed bowling and gardening. Mrs. Fanale was an avid New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Fanale, of Silver Creek, whom she married on Oct. 4, 1986, in the First United Presbyterian Church, Silver Creek; a son, Christopher (Kimberly) Fanale of Seneca Falls; three stepsons: John and David Fanale, both of Silver Creek, and Brad (Danielle) Fanale, of Syracuse; and a sister, Heather (Arthur) Van Allsburg, of North Salem, N.Y. Also surviving are four grandchildren, a niece, a nephew and a great-nephew.

There will be no visitation observed. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Time and place to be announced.
