Schutt Family

Sixty descendants of Leslie, Harold and Roy Schutt attended the annual Shutt reunion held in Lakeside Park, Mayville, and hosted by Bob and Ronda Reynolds and Harold Reynolds. Farthest attending were Becky Stevens, Kari Bower and children of Connecticut. The oldest attending was Dorothy Van Atter and the youngest, William Piazza, the son of Stephine and Bill Piazza.

Roger and Stacie Glossner were in charge of games and a white elephant sale was held.

The next reunion will be hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds in Lakeside Park. Jennifer and Mike Jackson will be in charge of games.

Johnson Family

The 199th reunion of the descendants of Obadiah and Daniel Johnson was held in the Veterans of Foreign Wars pavilion, Corry with 71 family members attending from Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and New York. The event was hosted by the Dave Johnson family.

Warren Golgrove of Westfield was the oldest man attending; Elaine Palmer, of Sinclairville, the oldest woman; and Cameron McClintock, the youngest.

Traveling the farthest were Brian Johnson and his family, of South Carolina.

The next reunion will be held in Waterford, Pa., hosted by the Fish family.

Hallet Family

The 32nd Hallet Family Reunion was held in the Stockton’s Fireman’s Grounds, attended by 120 family members and guests. Leona Seekings was the oldest attending and Miranda Leigh Myers was the youngest. Frederick Saddler Jr. gave the blessing before dinner.

Roxanne Stack, president, presided. Reports were given by Patty Saddler, secretary and Dorothy English, treasurer.

Volunteers were thanked for helping with games and auctions. David and Eva Sargent Sr., historians, were also thanked.

The 33rd family reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, in the Fireman’s Grounds.
