Falconer To Hold Open House
FALCONER – The Falconer Central School District will hold its middle/high school open house on Wednesday. Teachers will be available to meet parents of students in grades 6-12 from 6:30-8 p.m. Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit the book fair, which will be held in the eighth-grade project room in the middle school wing.
Delta Gamma Sorority To Meet
The Delta Gamma Sorority recently had their inaugural meeting on Sept. 11 at The Pub in downtown Jamestown. President Mary Jo Bradish presented to the group and read a thank you letter that was received from WCA Hospital for the August donation of $745.53 toward the 3D Tomosynthesis Mammography System which is a new method for breast cancer screening and diagnosis. The next meeting will be held at the Wegmans cafe on Wednesday.
Empire State To Hold Info Session

RANDOLPH – There will be a special meeting of the Randolph Central School Board of Education on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the high school library. The work session will be held to discuss capital project planning.
McDonald’s Autism Fundraiser
The McDonald’s restaurant on Fairmount Avenue in West Ellicott will host an all-you-can-eat hotcake dinner Thursday to benefit youths on the autism spectrum. From 4-7 p.m. that day, customers can eat all of the hotcakes they want. The cost is $3. This offer applies to dine-in service only. Tickets for the hotcake dinner must be purchased by today. Tickets are available at The Resource Center, located at 200 Dunham Ave. in Jamestown (the former Celoron school). Tickets may be purchased from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 483-2344.
