CATTARAUGUS COUNTY

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CONEWANGO – Susan A. English, 46, of Randolph was charged at 9:27 p.m. with driving while intoxicated, DWI over .08 percent, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane, after a traffic stop on Elm Creek Road in the town of Conewango. She was processed and released on appearance tickets and is due back in the Town of Conewango Court at a later date.

GREAT VALLEY – Dane D. Ellis of Salamanca was charged at 8 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree assault. The charges stemmed from an incident in which Ellis was involved in a physical altercation with another male at a residence in the town of Great Valley. He was apprehended and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date and time.

SALAMANCA – Jocelyn K. Cook, 20, of Salamanca was charged at 6 p.m. on Monday with second-degree harassment. She was apprehended and taken before the Town of Salamanca Court for arraignment, was released on her own recognizance and will appear back in court at a later date and time.

GREAT VALLEY – Rene J. Leblanc was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Monday with third-degree menacing. The charges stemmed from an incident in which he was involved in a physical altercation with another male at a residence in the town of Great Valley. Leblanc was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date and time.

ELLERY – Dylan T. Graziano, 21, of Maple Springs was charged at 2:45 a.m. on Friday with third-degree criminal mischief. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a disorderly male subject damaging property of another person. Following an investigation, deputies found that Graziano intentionally destroyed property of another person in excess of $250. He was arraigned in the Town of Ellery Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $1,000 or $2,000 property bond.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

DEPARTMENT

Derek L. McCance, 27, of 210 N. Work St., Falconer, was charged at 3:17 a.m. on Friday with false personation, failure to keep right and unlicensed operator. Jamestown Police Department officers were on a traffic stop on Stowe Street, near Falconer Street, when they heard a person scream for help as a green Jeep drove by. Officers followed the jeep and effected a traffic stop near the intersection of Falconer Street at Charlotte Avenue. Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver who identified himself as Derrick L. McCane. Further investigation revealed that the driver’s actual name was McCance and that he misrepresented his information due to the fact that he had an expired driver’s license and probation warrants out of Pennsylvania. McCance was pleased into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was charged.

Colleen S. Olmstead, 35, of Jamestown, was charged at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday with failure to keep right, no/improper signal and driving while intoxicated. A vehicle was observed traveling south and failing to keep right on Maple Street. The vehicle turned off Maple Street onto Camp Street without signaling its turn. The vehicle was stopped on Walnut Street at Camp Street and Olmstead was found to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She was charged and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
