Frewsburg Still Unbeaten In Tennis

Sparked by undefeated Olivia Sposato, Frewsburg remained unbeaten (4-0, 5-0) in the East Division girls tennis on Thursday afternoon.

Sposato improved her record to 5-0 at third singles by defeating Emily Koniak, 6-0, 6-1, as the Bears blanked Salamanca (0-4, 0-5), 5-0.

MAYVILLE – Maple Grove increased its West Division record to 5-1 and 6-1 overall by prevailing over Chautauqua Lake (3-2, 4-2), 4-1.

The Lady Red Dragons won all three singles behind the play of Corrine Cardinale, Paige Bentham and Morgan Lehman.

Charity Ludwig and Autumn Shuskie recorded a win for Chautauqua Lake at second doubles.
