Jamestown BPU, Rand & SKM Take Battle Of Businesses Wins

The Jamestown BPU (21,635 points) rallied in the Large Division laser tag competition at the Gateway Center, beating Cummins (1,040) in the final game during YMCA Battle of the Businesses action on Monday..

The winning team members were Tammy Anderson, Jarrett Devereaux, Phil Pantall, Joel Patterson and Kris Sellstrom.

Falconer Central School finished in third place.

In volleyball action at the Jamestown and Lakewood YMCAs, Rand & SKM pounded the court with its fourth straight win in the championship series against The Jock Shop & CSI in the Small Division.

The winning squad consisted of Jen Anderson, Beth Kingsley, Wes Pickard, Jason Ruhlman, Katrina Ruhlman and Chris Smith.

Matco Tools had 90 points for third place.

Cummins with 570 points and Frewsburg Central School with 470 points top the Large and Small Divisions respectively.

Today’s events are the Large Division volleyball at the Jamestown YMCA starting at 5:45 p.m. in both gyms and the Small Division laser tag event beginning at 5 p.m.
