Randolph Shuts Out Allegany-Limestone
RANDOLPH – Randolph took on Allegany-Limestone (1-1, 2-0-1) and ended up with its first East Division boys soccer victory, posting a 4-0 win on Monday.
Nick Carpenter picked up his second shutout for the Cardinals (1-0, 2-0-2), making four saves to earn the win.
Offensively, just eight minutes in, Jacob Turner scored the game’s first goal for Randolph from an assist by Zach Jackson and at 22 minutes, Jackson found the net himself as Skyler Schapp got the assist to make it 2-0.
At the 35-minute mark, Matthew Born came through with an unassisted goal and Connor McAllister wrapped up the scoring at 65 minutes with Taylor Miller assisting.
