Zachar Records Hat Trick In Cardinals’ Win

RANDOLPH – Taylor Zachar led a prolific scoring attack for the Randolph girls soccer team.

Zacher had the hat trick as the Lady Cardinals got the season under way by easily defeating non-league Cassadaga Valley, 10-0, on Saturday.

Sabrina Jackson and MacKenzie Evans each added two goals while a goal each were scored by Megan Steward, Taryn Dechow and Kayla Andrews in the win.

Santana France recorded three assists while Evans and Dechow had two apiece and Jackson and Andrews added one for the winners.

Tiffini Keyes and Kayla Miller shared the goal tending duties with each going a half with one save each for the Lady Cardinals.

Megan Rearick was quite busy for Cassadaga Valley with 19 saves.

Randolph scored five goals in the first half and recorded the same number in the second half.
