Stephanie Lynn O’Connor and Dr. Ryan Matthew Harrington exchanged wedding vows on May 18, 2013, at the Chapel at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Rabbi Steven Gross and the Rev. Stephen Quill performed the ceremony. Music was provided by the Klockwork Band. The bride was escorted by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael O’Connor of Houston, Texas, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gernsbacher and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert O’Connor. Her husband is the son of Patricia Harrington of Mayville, N.Y., and Michael Harrington of Westfield, N.Y. He is also the grandson of Pauline Baron of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Joseph S. Baron and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Harrington.
The bride wore a Provonias gown. The strapless sheath gown was fashioned with lace on the bodice, skirt and train.
Laura and Lesley O’Connor sisters of the bride were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Harrington, sister of the groom, Ashley Partridge and Annette Guzman.
Best man was Christopher Harrington, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Whitney, Keith Monk, John Carberry and Dustin Hammers.
The bride is a graduate of Memorial High School in Houston, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in physical therapy from University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. She is employed as a pediatric physical therapist. Her husband is a graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School in Mayville, N.Y., earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Allegheny College and a doctorate in organic chemistry from The University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He is employed as a research scientist for chemicals in the oil and gas industry.
They honeymooned in the British Virgin Islands,
They are living in Houston, Texas.
