CCYHA Beginner, ADM Registration Set

The Chautauqua County Youth Hockey Association will be holding a Beginner and A.D.M. (American Development Model) registration on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.

The Timbits Beginner Program is for children ages 6 and under, including first-year 7 and 8 year olds. The ADM program is for all children ages 8 and under with at least one year of previous hockey experience.

Both programs are fun, interactive and taught by experienced coaches. The primary focus of each session is to further a child’s development on and off the ice. While promoting teamwork, self-confidence and ,most of all, fun.

The ice sessions have the ice broken down into stations that each child will go through. The stations include skating; passing and puck handling, fun/creative, shooting and puck handling, and a second fun/creative station.

At the end of each ice session the children will finish with larger competitive games or scrimmages.

Children must register with USA Hockey at prior to attending the CCYHA registration. A copy of the USA Hockey number will be needed to be presented at the registration.
