Eight-Week Session Of Swim Lessons To Begin In September

The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls of Jamestown will be starting a new eight-week session of swim lessons in mid-September.

The club uses the Red Cross system of progressive instruction for beginning to advanced swimmers with placement in classes that encourage and support each child’s efforts and abilities.

The swim lesson registration fee is $25 per participant. A Boys & Girls Club membership is also required and available for $15 for one full year of membership.

Swim lessons are scheduled in 45-minute sessions on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Those interested should call the Boys & Girls Club at 664-2902 to see the time each level is offered.

The next session will begin Sept. 17 and run through Nov. 9.

Full payment must be made on the first day of attendance. Anyone needing additional information about swim lessons or a possible partial scholarship for either the membership or swim session should contact the Boys & Girls Club at 664-2902.

In order to ensure optimal instruction, class sizes are limited. Early registration is suggested.

All youth programming at the Boys & Girls Club is paid for in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.
