Ingersoll Reunion Held In South Dayton

The 38th Cora and Tilden Ingersoll reunion and picnic was held recently in the South Dayton playground, hosted by the Janet Butcher family and attended by 70 family members and three guests from Arizona, Ohio, Florida and local areas.

Lawrence Ingersoll led in prayer; family pictures were taken and games played.

Marily Butcher, president, called the meeting to order. Pat Bromley, secretary, read minutes and deaths, marriages, and births were recorded.

Violet Pickup won a quilt, made by Patty Pickup and was signed by members. A white elephant for adults and children was conducted by Brittany Merrill.

The oldest attending was Clyde Butcher, of Alden. The youngest were Cora Ann Merrill and twins Bentley Lee and Riley Thomas Brisley.

The next reunion will be held on Aug. 9, 2014, hosted by the Alberta Fritts family in the South Dayton playground.
