Area Police Reports


Ronald C. Greene Jr., 22, of West Main Street, Falconer, was charged at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday with resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment. Police responded to Circle Drive for a fight in progress. Officers observed several people fleeing the scene and a foot pursuit ensued. At one point an officer was allegedly punched in the face by Greene, who was taken into custody following a brief struggle. He was arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Amanda R. Kimpel, 31, of Jamestown was picked up on a warrant out of Busti Court due to trespassing on Wal-Mart property. Police said Kimpel has been formally evicted from the store, but was observed on the property.


HANOVER – Robert N. Rydzewski, 38, of Angola was charged at 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday with illegal dumping. Deputies were called to Buffalo Street for alleged illegal dumping complaint. It was found Rydzewski allegedly dumped several large piles of concrete blocks and gravel in an attempt to gain access across railroad tracks to his property without permission. He was issued appearance tickets to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
