Bible School Begins Monday

Senior Report

To Host Spanos

“Senior Report with Reed Powers” will have MaryAnn Spanos as the guest Saturday. Spanos is director of the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging. The live, call-in program airs from 9-10 a.m. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions, comments or a shout-out. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. Reed Powers, host of Senior Report, has been producing the television program since 1995. Viewers should note that all area public access channels have been dropped from Time Warner’s analog service, but can be received on digital service with a converter or on a digital television that has been recently autoscanned.

Bag Sale

Begins Tuesday

Community Helping Hands will hold its August Bag Sale, from Tuesday to Aug. 10. New items put out everyday, come find a treasure and support a charity that helps local families in need. Knife Thrower To Make Appearance

The First Baptist Church of Frewsburg will present Johnny Bailey Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and Monday at 7 p.m. Bailey is a three-time world champion knife thrower as well as in the Guinness World Book of Records for bullwhipping. Panama Board To Meet Monday

PANAMA – The Panama Central School Board of Education will hold its scheduled board meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the boardroom. This meeting is open to the public.

JPS Board To Meet Tuesday

The Jamestown Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the board room at 197 Martin Road.

Sewer Board To Meet Tuesday

The South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer District administrative board will meet Tuesday at the Water Pollution Control Facility at 4 p.m.

Annual Picnic Set For Wednesday
