Water Street Home Damaged By Fire

The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a report of a fire just before noon Friday.

A report was called in stating that a fire had broken out at 116 Water St. at approximately 11:45 a.m. Multiple units from the Jamestown Fire Department were dispatched to the residence.

According to crews at the scene, everyone from the building was able to be evacuated safely.

There are no details at this time regarding the cause of the fire. As of noon, crews were still working to clear smoke from the residence.

Alstar EMS and the Jamestown Police Department were also on the scene for assistance.
