CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Jordan J. Leeper, 22, of Jamestown was charged at 2:03 a.m. on Thursday with failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. Deputies on patrol on Route 394 observed a vehicle make several lane violations. Leeper was later found to be intoxicated and was processed and released. He is scheduled to be back in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Xiomara Cabrera, 26, of Prendergast Avenue was charged at 2:55 a.m. on Wednesday with speeding, failure to keep right, failure to reduce speed under special hazards, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. Officers conducted a traffic stop on West Sixth Street for a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed. Cabrera was later found to be driving while intoxicated. Cabrera was transported to Jamestown City Court and was awaiting arraignment.

James A. McCallum, 42, was charged at 2:20 a.m. on Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated per se, failure to keep right and improper left turn. Officers observed a vehicle make an improper right turn onto Main Street. McCallum was later identified as the driver and was found to be intoxicated. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail where his blood alcohol content was found to be more than .18 percent. He was held pending arraignment.

Victor A. Gifford, 39, was charged at 11:56 p.m. on Wednesday with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Officers responded to Spring Street for a domestic dispute. Police found that Gifford allegedly grabbed a female victim by the throat, causing her breathing to become obstructed. Gifford was taken into custody and was held pending arraignment.
