Carl D. Frantz

Carl D. Frantz, 55, of 89 Dunham Ave., Celoron, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at his home.

He was born April 30, 1958, in Niagara Falls, the son of Carl and Delma Burnham Frantz.

He had been employed at Truck Lite and Ring Precision.

Carl was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving from 1976 to 1980, serving in the Second Marine Airwing.

He was a member of the Bradford Eagles, and enjoyed hockey, hunting, golf, airplane modeling, football and camping.

He was a faithful hockey dad and skilled electrician.

Carl was survived by his son, Carl N. Frantz of Celoron; a granddaughter, Jasmine Breese Barrett of Warren; a brother, Robert Frantz of Jamestown; and a sister, Ellen Frain of Niagara Falls.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Linda Olson Frantz.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. The Rev. Ronald Lemon, pastor of the Koinonia Christian Fellowship, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
