LPGA Returns

Once again on Monday, 25 LPGA Tour players will take on Moon Brook Country Club during the 22nd annual Links Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament.

The 25 LPGA members will be playing with four amateurs. There will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and again the first hole will be a warm-up hole.

The public is welcome to come watch the action.

The Linking Together banquet and auction will begin at 6 p.m. and seats are still available for the event. Tickets are $50 a person and feature dinner provided by Moon Brook and the Links live and silent auctions.

On Tuesday, the Links Golf Scramble begins with an 8 a.m. golf clinic conducted by LPGA players followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

That evening, spearheaded by lead sponsor Truck-Lite and major sponsors Cummins, United Refining Company, The Bilicki Law Firm and ALSTAR Emergency Medical Services, along with associate sponsors, Veracity Benefits and Jamestown Savings Bank. Links Charity has once again taken a leadership role in the local fight against breast cancer with a $300,000 pledge toward the purchase of 3-D Breast Tomosynthesis.

Links Charity has raised $978,000 and will surpass the $1 million mark this year.
