END-OF-YEAR TOURNEY

Carson Peters surrendered one hit over six strong innings as the Jock Shop defeated Jamestown Savings Bank, 11-4, in semifinal action of the Jamestown Babe Ruth End-of-the-Season Tournament.

Peters and teammates Andrew Laton, Griffin Noon and Kameron Rizzo-Walker, drove in a run apiece, and Brennan Russell connected for a double in the victory.

For Jamestown Savings Bank, Niko Pannes hit a double.

Noah Johnson delivered a two-out RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Peppy Dental to a 9-8 victory over Lakeview Landscaping in the semifinals of the Jamestown Babe Ruth End-of-the-Season Tournament.

Peppy Dental will now square off against the Jock Shop, which defeated Jamestown Savings Bank, 11-4, in the other semifinal today at 7 p.m. at Bergman Park.

The clutch double capped off a banner day for Johnson, who in addition to combining with teammate Collin DePonceau on the hill for nine strikeouts and the victory, finished with three hits, including a pair of doubles, with two RBIs.

Corey Falkowski scored the winning run.

Along with Johnson, DePonceau had two hits and three RBIs and Tariq Strudwick had two hits and two RBIs.

For the now-eliminated Lakeview Landscaping, Kyle Liuzzo (double) had three hits, Mike Larsen (double) had two more and Alex Schupp had a double.
