JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Thomas B. Judson of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI blood alcohol content .18 or higher, no stopping/standing or parking on a highway and no seat belt Thursday at 3:07 p.m. Officers observed a black pickup truck parked in the road on East Fourth Street and the operator was not wearing his seat belt. The vehicle was stopped at Mechanics Alley and the operator was identified as Judson. Further investigation revealed that Judson was intoxicated. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
SHERMAN – James L. Linger, 37, of Sherman was charged with second-degree menacing at 10 p.m. Sunday. Deputies were dispatched with New York State Police to an incident on Route 76 in Sherman. It is alleged that Linger pointed a loaded firearm at a victim and made threats placing the victim in fear of injury or death. Linger will appear in Sherman Town Court at a later date.
