Woman Charged For Drunken Driving, Damaging Patrol Car
SALAMANCA – A Salamanca woman is facing several charges after police say they found her driving drunk Wednesday morning.
Donielle M. Storey, 21, of Lexington Avenue, was taken into custody at 2:16 a.m. following a traffic stop for speeding and failure to dim high beams in Salamanca.
Following an investigation, Storey was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Police said she resisted arrest while being taken into custody, and after being placed in a patrol car, she attempted to kick out the back window.
The rear door of the patrol car was damaged as a result, police said.
Storey was taken to the Sheriff’s Office in Little Valley for processing; she was charged with driving while intoxicated common law, aggravated DWI, resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, speeding and failure to dim high beams.
She was arraigned and posted bail to appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.
