CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – Kyle M. Samuelson, 20, of Route 62, Conewango, was charged at 3 a.m. on Tuesday with speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for a traffic violation. An investigation found Samuelson in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Kevin A. Brennan, 25, of Cheektowaga, was charged at 1:11 a.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for a traffic violation. Brennan was later found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was released with uniform traffic tickets to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – James J. Hilliker, 45, of Forestville, was charged at 12:15 a.m. on Monday with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment. Deputies alleged that Hilliker on July 5 went to the victim’s residence and cut the brake lines of several vehicles and damaged braking and other vehicle parts. He was taken into custody and will be back in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Sean T. Conners, 32, of Orchard Park, was charged at 6 p.m. on Sunday with open container in a public place. Deputies witnessed Conners walking with an open 12-ounce can of beer in his hand. The deputy had Conners dump the rest of the beer and issued him an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Samuel Anderson, 19, of Kane, Pa., was charged at 11:57 p.m. on Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana, underage possession of alcohol, failure to stop at a stop sign and open container of alcohol inside a motor vehicle. Officers on patrol on Hunt Road observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. Following an investigation Anderson was found in possession of marijuana and alcohol. He will be in Busti Court to answer the charges at a later date.
Harmon K. Dockstader, 34, was charged at noon on Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Dockstader was taken into custody following a domestic incident with his wife. He was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail on $500 bail.
Zachary J. Wells, 37, of Jamestown, was charged at 4 p.m. on Monday with first-degree contempt following a violation of an order of protection from Jamestown City Court. Wells was riding in the same vehicle as the complainant in the order when the vehicle was stopped for speeding in Busti. Wells was released and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Noah J. Soto, 32, was charged at 9:30 p.m. on Monday with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded to WCA Hospital for a past tense assault complaint. Police spoke to the victim, who stated Soto allegedly punched him in the face and broke his glasses. Soto was located and taken into custody. He was being held in jail pending arraignment.
