Jamestown Man Charged For Allegedly Striking Juveniles

A Jamestown man is facing several charges after police say he punched two juveniles in the face Tuesday night.

Robert A. Hannah, 21, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment and third-degree assault. Officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded at 11:30 p.m. to 142 Anderson St. for a report of two males assaulted.

Police spoke to a 12-year-old and 15-year-old and their parents. According to a police report, the victims were involved in an altercation with Hannah.

Hannah allegedly struck both males in the face, causing injury to the 12-year-old, police said.

Following an investigation, Hannah was taken into custody and charged. He was arraigned Wednesday morning in Jamestown City Court and released under the supervision of probation, a court clerk said.

The Jamestown resident is scheduled to be back in court Aug. 27.

The extent of the injuries was not immediately known.
