Youth Baseball


The Falconer Firemen defeated 84 Lumber, 12-2, in the first game with Brett Payne and Cal Nowicki tossing a one-hitter.

Payne stroked three hits, as did Nowicki, with a double while Trevor Dykstra and A.J. Genco added two for the winners. One of Genco’s hits was a double.

Seth Beckerink had the lone hit for 84 Lumber.

In the second game, the Firemen won again over 84 Lumber as Jacob Peru hurled a two-hitter.

Nowicki had a triple and a single while Peru, Genco, Payne, Dykstra and Seth Abbey all delivered two hits in the win.

Billy Eskeli and Cooper Stuart had a hit in vain.


Andrew Latona drove in five runs with a three-run home run and two-run triple and finished with three hits as the Jock Shop defeated Jamestown Savings, 13-1, via the10-run rule.

Carson Peters stroked three hits and pitched three-hitter and Mike Mammoser contributed two hits, one a double, and drive in three runs in the victory.

Davante Strudwick singled in the game-winning run in the eighth inning when Peppy Dental edged Chautauqua Mechanical, 8-7.

Strudwick also had a double while Chad Nelson, Tyler Phanco and Cory Falkowski contributed two hits. O’Neill Rosado was the winning pitcher.

Andrew Sisson, J. Schultz and D. Simmons lashed two hits and Matt Roehmholdt connected for a double for CM.
