Class Of ’88 To Meet Saturday

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Academy and Central School Class of 1988 will hold its 25th reunion at Pat and Vikki (Marshall) Bowen’s property on Prospect Road in Mayville/Westfield on Saturday, starting at 1 p.m. There is a $20 donation which will cover hot dogs, condiments and paper plates. Yard Sale Set For Saturday

First Covenant Church, 520 Spring St., Jamestown, will hold a yard sale, bake sale and car wash on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free coffee will be served with the purchase of a baked good from 8-10 a.m. Hot dogs will also be available. Proceeds will benefit local ministries.

Library Reading Program Continues

The Clymer-French Creek Free Library is having its Summer Reading Program every Saturday until Aug. 17 for children 3-7 years of age, from 11 a.m. to noon. For independent readers, the child will read books to receive prizes. Stop by the library to register your child. All are welcome to The Omnipresent Puppet Theater presentation of Gumshoe Mcmonocle and the Strange Case of Rumpelsomething, is set for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Clymer United Methodist Church basement. Outdoor Club To Ride Saturday

On Saturday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes in the Steamburg/Frewsburg area. Participants will meet at the Clay Pond on New York Avenue in Falconer at 8 a.m. From there they will ride to Randolph for breakfast then continue on to Steamburg and return via Perimeter and Ivory roads back to Falconer. Frewsburg Grads To Meet July 20

Cruise Around Lake Is Saturday

The Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club will host its annual cruise around Chautauqua Lake on Saturday. The annual traveling event began 20 years ago, shortly after the club was formed. There is no fee and the cruise is open to all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles. The cruise takes place regardless of weather and will begin at Wing City Grille in Lakewood at 4 p.m. and leave at 6:30 p.m. The cruise will end at the 50s Grill and Diner on Washington Street, Jamestown. Food specials are offered at both restaurants.
