Cattaraugus County Museum To Host Talk
The Cattaraugus County Museum’s summer-long Civil War Event Series continues Wednesday as Tom Schobert will be on hand to hive his talk “The Story of Robert E. Lee.”
Schobert is a retired health care administrator who served in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Department, retiring with the rank of Lt. Col. A lifelong Civil War enthusiast, he has been involved with historical reenacting for more than 20 years. He served as principal consultant Carolina Video Productions for their documentary series on Civil War medicine and also appeared in the motion picture “Gettysburg.”
The talk will take place at 7 p.m. at the Cattaraugus County Museum and will be, weather permitting, held outside on the museum lawn. Some seating will be available. The talk is free and open to the public.
