Michael J. Williams
SINCLAIRVILLE – Michael J. Williams, 49, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at his father’s home in Jamestown after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 3, 1964, in Jamestown, he is the son of Robert and the late Jacquelyn “Jackie” Johnson Williams. Mike is a 1982 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.
He was employed for 17 years for SKF in shipping and had previously been employed at Wonder Bread and Quality Markets in Mayville.
Mike was a member of UAW Local 338, was an avid snowmobiler and member of the Cherry Creek Sno Goers snowmobile club and enjoyed doing mechanical work.
He was the brother of, Laurie (Steave) Wappat of Jamestown, Dawn (Darell) Gross of Sinclairville and Robert Williams Jr. of Ash-ville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclair-ville. A reception will immediately follow at the Gerry Rodeo Grounds reception hall.
