Old Testament Scholar To Speak Monday

The Rev. Kathie Kuhn, Professor of Old Testament Studies and Dean of Students at Hosanna Bible Training Center in Macedonia, Ohio, will speak Monday from 7-8 p.m. in the Hall of Philosophy in Chautauqua Institution. Kuhn’s topic is “Experiencing the Table of the Lord in Passover Mysteries.”

Guests are invited to this Passover panorama which is referred to as the first preaching of the Gospel of Christ.

An ordained minister, Kuhn is an international speaker and has served for 28 years as associate pastor of Faith Fellowship Church where she directs Pastoral Care, Small Group Ministries, Leadership, and Missions Departments. Kuhn is a graduate of Hosanna Bible Training Center in Macedonia, Ohio. She also graduated from Emerge Ministries’ three year pastoral training program.

More recently, Kuhn graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary’s Pastors of Excellence Program and now serves as a mentor as well as teacher in those ongoing national outreaches. Kuhn is currently authoring a manuscript on the Covenants of God, which has been her life’s work for three decades.

For more than 40 spirit-filled years, Kuhn has highly valued biblical education and delights in teaching God’s Word around the globe. She is spiritual director and mentor to many. Her students and friends repeatedly describe her ministry as transforming and life-changing.

Kuhn is a widowed mother of seven whose hobbies include gardening, reading and enjoying her 14 grandchildren.
