Ride For Hospice Set For Aug. 31

LAKEWOOD – The third-annual Ride for Hospice will take place Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Richard O. Hartley Park in Lakewood. The ride will raise awareness for Hospice Chautauqua County services and help generate funds to support these varied services.

Hospice is looking for individual and team riders for the 5, 20, 35 and 50 mile tours around the Chautauqua Lake region. Hospice will supply a lunch for each participant, and live entertainment will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hospice is dedicated to providing end of life care and bereavement services to the residents of the entire county. While many of the services are provided by Medicare, many of the therapies, counseling and other services are paid for with funds Hospice raises throughout the year.

Hospice is seeking sponsors for the Ride for Hospice event. We offer several donation levels for you to consider. Visit hospicechautco.org/rideforhospice.html for more information, or contact Megan D’Angelo at 338-0033.
