JCC To Host Wee College

Wee College, a special camp for 6- and 7-year-olds, will feature two sessions at Jamestown Community College’s Jamestown Campus in August.

The program is designed to engage children in math and science through interactive, hands-on activities. Morning (9 a.m. to noon) and afternoon (1-4 p.m.) sessions are offered and meet in the Carnahan Center. Tuition is $98 per session.

A Wee Bit O’ Math and Science, offered Aug. 5-8, includes activities on the world of bugs and insects, building castles, making shapes with food and running races.

A Wee Bit O’ Fizz-Icks, which meets Aug. 12-15, explores physics concepts through the building of Lego robots, hovercrafts, kites, and water pressure rockets.
