Strawberry Social Set For Saturday

STOCKTON – The Stockton Community Church, 4554 W. Railroad Ave., Stockton, will host its annual strawberry social from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday. Music will be provided by Maurice Brown and ”The Mountain Railroad.” A freewill offering will be received. This event is open to the public.

Senior Report To Talk Hospice Care

“Senior Report with Reed Powers” will have Megan D’Angelo as the guest Saturday. D’Angelo will discuss hospice care. The live, call-in program airs from 9-10 a.m. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions or comments. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. Timothy Class Set For Sunday

New Covenant Assembly Church, 7 Arlington Ave., Jamestown, will hold a Timothy Class beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. The class will run in three five-week sessions and each class will last approximately one hour. The Timothy Class, which adopted its name from the biblical book of the same name, seeks to ”become workmen, approved by God, who have no need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15). Bible School Begins Monday

Lighthouse Baptist Church, 381 Camp St., Jamestown will hold their Daily Vacation Bible School from Monday to Friday, June 28, from 9:30 am to noon. Classes are from age 2 to sixth grade. The theme is “Investigation Destination – Follow Clues to the King of Kings.” There will be Bible and Missions stories, puppet shows, skits, great music, games, treats, prizes and more.
