Sinclairville Woman Charged In Another TV?Theft, Sent To County Jail

ELLICOTT – A Sinclairville woman has been remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail following an investigation into numerous thefts.

Kelsey A. Raynor, 26, of Reed Street, was arraigned Thursday morning in Jamestown City Court on second-degree burglary and petit larceny charges. According to Capt. Robert Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department, Kelsey on Sunday stole a donation canister for the St. Susan Center from the Robo Mini-Mart on North Main Street totaling more than $70.

A surveillance photo of Raynor was distributed to the public.

Raynor on Sunday also was charged for entering a Foote Avenue residence and allegedly taking a 40-inch TV. She and a male subject, Jacob Raynor, 30, also of Sinclairville, were taken into custody Wednesday following an investigation by Jamestown and Ellicott police and from tips received from the public.

The alleged TV theft was the second for Raynor in as many days. According to a police report by the Ellicott Police Department, Raynor on Saturday was identified as the woman seen running out of K-Mart on Fairmount Avenue with a TV and two DVD players.

Raynor was located a short time later and charged with petit larceny. She was arraigned Saturday in front of Ellicott Court Justice Marilyn Gerace and later released from County Jail after posting $1,000 cash bail, $2,000 property bond.

A Jamestown City Court clerk said Raynor will be back in court June 26.
