CITY REC LEAGUE

The B&L Yankees outlasted the Astros, 12-8.

For the winners, Joseph Velezquez had two hits, including a solo home run, Ricky Jo Dean had three hits and the trio of Ethan Russell, Jonathan Brito and Charles Apperson delivered two hits apiece.

Juyn Matvee and Brianna Holmes had three hits each for the losers.

SWAS ROOKIES

The Davidson’s Family Restaurant Tigers defeated the Veracity Benefits Royals, 14-1, as Jackson Baretto, Caleb Baretto, Nathan Lewis and Cooper Daikawa each had four hits.

Chase Kartesz chipped in with three hits while Jake Lawton was the defensive standout in the victory.

For the Royals, Gabe Tyger and Chase Hartnett were the offensive and defensive stars.

FALCONER COACH PITCH

Player of the game Brady Shea had two hits, Gage Swanson (two doubles) and Lucas Sopak added three apiece and the Barton Tool Yankees toppled the Truck-Lite Rangers.

Dylan Newman was the player of the game for the Rangers while Maddie McIntyre and Ethyn Gilbert had each delivered a pair of hits.

SO. TIER BR SOFTBALL ROOKIES

The Troopers defeated Rand Machine.

Defensive standouts for Rand Machine were Corinne McLaughin and Lucy Spontaneo while Taytum Jimerson and Kaidyn Lundgren earned offensive player-of-the-game honors.

TMN Global beat Just Fur Fun as Gracin Laroy connected on four hits and teammate Kamryn Harper three.

The defensive players of the game for the winners were Leeya Riley and Marlei Armstrong.

The Just Fur Fun offensive standout was Sadie Steward and the defensive standout was Samantha English.

Addison Schrader had three hits and Brynn Zaranek two when TMN Global edged Rand Machine.

The defensive players of the game for TMN Global were Emily Swan and Sarah Harvey.

Rand Machine standouts were Aleah Bjork, Alaina Rosengren and Gracie Ruhlman.

Offensive standouts Sam Bresson and Megan Kubera, along with defensive standout Morgan Torrey, led Pizza Hut past State Farm.

Megan Lockwood shined on offense while teammates Elizabeth Lai and Jessica Wozniak were the top players on defense.

SO. TIER BR SOFTBALL MAJORS

Kaylee McCall spun a three hitter and surrendered just one run in leading Clark Patterson and Lee architectural Firm by Premier Finishing, 12-4.

Leading the offense for the winners was Madigan Howard, who had a game-high five hits, Marisa Schuppenhauer and Elise Swanson, who had three hits apiece, and Hope Marshall and Riley Caskey, who each had a pair of hits.

Allison McCall was the defensive player of the game in the victory.

For Premier Finishing, Hannah Wallace and Payton Sheesley had three hits apiece and Emmaleigh Pratt chipped in with two.

Tri-James Services toppled Neil’s Propane, 4-1, behind a combined three-hitter from pitchers Kaitlyn Lachner and Erin Radack.

Radack also drove in three of the squad’s four runs. Kate Gunnell and Lauren Burch were offensive and defensive standouts.

Madalyn Bowan and Alexys Marsh earned player-of-the-game honors in defeat.

Kyla Walker and Chelsie Mercado excelled on offense and defense as the Jock Shop bested Clark Patterson Lee, 7-2.

Lynne Nordin was the offensive MVP and Marissa Schuppenhauer the defensive MVP for Clark Patterson Lee.

SO. TIER BR SOFTBALL13-16

Two runs apiece by Kendyl Austin and Misty Himes, and three hits from Xiane Smith propelled Farm Fresh Foods to a 10-7 victory over Truck-Lite.

For Truck-Lite, Hannah Hollahon (double) and Rachel O’Brien had two hits each.

Lauren MaddeN drilled two hits in two at-bats as Lucy-Desi turned back Tops, 10-2.

Allissa and Brianna Abbot were the winning pitchers.

Kenzy Marsh and Kelly Andrews went 2-for-3 for Tops.

Lucy-Desi went unbeaten during a doubleheader with Farm Fresh.

The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie in the opening contest and then Lucy-Desi earned the shutout victory, 12-0, in the nightcap.

Bailey Indelicato went 2-for-2 for Lucy-Desi in the first game while Xiane Smith and Emily Yochim each had a pair of hits and scored a run for Farm Fresh.

Lauren Madden, Cassidy Birt and Caylie Birt shined at the plate in the second game while Sally Rudny and Kendyl Austin had a pair of singles apiece for the losers.
