Area Seniors Prepare To Walk

For many area seniors, one of the biggest milestones of their lives will be recognized this week.

This is because commencement ceremonies for several Chautauqua and Cattaraugus county school districts will take place throughout the week.

THURSDAY CEREMONIES

Falconer Central School will hold its 65th annual commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. at the Reg Lenna Civic Center.

The Chautauqua Lake Central School district will host its ceremony at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

FRIDAY CEREMONIES

At 7 p.m., the Jamestown Public Schools’ 2013 commencement ceremony will be held at the Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater.

Southwestern Central School’s ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Reg Lenna Civic Center.

The Frewsburg Central School ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The Cassadaga Valley Central School ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The Bemus Point Central School ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. in the Maple Grove auditorium.

Sherman Central School district’s ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, with a 6:30 p.m. student PowerPoint presentation preceding the ceremony.

Panama and Clymer districts will hold their ceremonies at 7 p.m. in their respective high school auditoriums.

In Cattaraugus County, the Randolph, Ellicottville, Salamanca and Cattaraugus-Little Valley districts will hold their ceremonies at 7 p.m. in their respective high school auditoriums.

SATURDAY CEREMONIES

The Westfield Academy and Central School ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. in the auditorium.

The Ripley Central School ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. in the large gymnasium.

SUNDAY CEREMONY

The Pine Valley Central School ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
