Area Police Reports


Elizabeth A. Horn, 23, of Range Road, Union City, Pa., was charged at 5:50 on June 11 with second-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Horn was taken into custody on a warrant from the town of Sherman on June 16 when deputies observed her driving on Route 430. She was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.


Patrick S. Seekings, 21, of Fox Road, Ashville, and Danielle J. Schimek, 21, of South Road, Cherry Creek, were charged at 6:08 p.m. on Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of hypodermic instruments. An off-duty sheriff’s deputy was following a 2000 Ford Taurus westbound on Baker Street Extension and observed the vehicle driving in an erratic manner and failing to keep right. According to a police report, Seeking pulled the vehicle over and switched places with Schimek. She was then found to be driving erratically and failed to keep right. The vehicle was stopped by Lakewood-Busti police where 10 syringes were found. Both were charged and issued appearance tickets to be back in court at a later date.

Carlos J. Corbin, 41, of South Work Street, Falconer, was charged at 1 p.m. Monday with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment. Corbin was taken into custody on a warrant following incidents on June 12-13 at the residence of a victim in Busti. Police said Corbin violated an order of protection by making several phone calls and text messages. He was arraigned and is due back in court at a later date.


Omar Rosado, 27, was charged at 9:04 p.m. on Sunday with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing, unlawful imprisonment and aggravated family offense. Officers responded to East Second Street for a disorderly male. Police learned Rosado damaged property and threatened a female victim with a broken piece of lumber while holding her down. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. Rosado was held pending arraignment.
